Reconnect with your “Next” at Innibos this July

We understand we’re all going somewhere but we’re not all getting there the same way. This year’s annual Innibos National Arts Festival in July, billed as “that’s how we roll”, ties in with our own mottos of “What’s Your Next?” and “I am Next”.

Thousands of fans will descend on the City of Mbombela for this arts and music extravaganza that brings the lowveld alive to the sounds of 800 carnival artists and numerous stars from the local music and entertainment scenes.

As Standard Bank we are proud to be associated with this festival, which sees people from all over the country converging on this tiny town to share in the festivities. This year marks 13 years of our partnership and we look forward to more fruitful years to come as we enable more “Nexts” across the country.

At Standard Bank we’re all about what’s coming next. Whether this is putting customers on track to afford their children’s education, paying for that dream holiday or simply saving for a rainy day. The “that’s how we roll” theme therefore resonates very well with our own drive to get more people to achieve their goals by saying: “I am Next”. Whether you want to bank, save or borrow, we have a solution designed just for you says Mr. Timothy Whati, Standard Bank Provincial Head Mpumalanga & Limpopo.

As a bank which puts people at the center of what we do, we love coming along for the journey and it will be no different at Innibos this year.

We invite you to come and join us at the Standard Bank stall where you can bring your young ones to learn about money and enjoy the fun that is in banking, thanks to the Kidz App that has been developed especially for their young and inquisitive minds. Our mascots will be around to help your kids learn about the power of saving, earning and working with their own money. We can also discuss how we are enabling personalized products and solutions to suit individual needs. That’s how we roll at Standard Bank as we help our customers take that next step towards financial independence.

We look forward to a great festival where we will celebrate the Afrikaans culture and showcase some of the best in local talent.

The Standard Bank Team.

Department, Innibos partnership delivers world-class event

It gives the department great pleasure to once again partner with Innibos National Arts Festival for this year’s festival.

This year’s festival coincides with the celebration of Nelson Mandela Centenary, which encourages all of us to find a Madiba in us. There is no better way to mark the Nelson Mandela Centenary than espousing matters of social cohesion and oneness, which Madiba promoted until his passing. Innibos has been a hotbed of national unity and cultural diversity and this year will be no different. This will ensure that as Mpumalanga, we celebrate the Nelson Mandela Centenary in the best possible way.

Our partnership is based on delivering a world-class cultural festival that continues to grow in leaps and bounds. We are expecting nothing less this year. We are confident that Innibos will once again reach new heights in terms of attendance and excitement levels.

Innibos could not be where it is today without the support of the people of South Africa and the Province. The support from the business community has also contributed to the growth of Innibos.

The Innibos National Arts Festival embodies our mission of promoting social cohesion and nation building through, culture, sport and information service to the people of Mpumalanga. We encourage all South Africans to come out in large numbers and support this year’s festival and in the process get a glimpse of what the Afrikaans culture has to offer in terms of music, cuisine as well as arts and crafts.

Not only does the festival keep us entertained and happy for a couple of days, but it also helps drives economic growth in Mbombela. The effects of the positive economic spinoffs brought about by the Innibos continue to be felt long after the festival has ended.

We trust all the patrons will enjoy everything that the festival has to offer and I hope to see you again next year.
